Program Responsibilities

I oversee all of Echo’s student recruitment, admissions processes, and larger storytelling initiatives, especially through website and social media. I am deeply passionate about helping young adults navigate transition and discernment.

Bio

I grew up in Cincinnati, OH, the land of Skyline Chili and Graeter’s Ice Cream. I received my undergraduate degree in Theology from Notre Dame in 2012 and my M.A. in Theology in 2015, as part of the Echo where I was a member of the class of Echo 10. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings—from parish ministry to high school and now in the university environment. I’ve been privileged to serve in a variety of ways across the McGrath Institute, specifically in support of Notre Dame Vision and Echo. Now I manage our undergraduate engagement strategies and student recruitment across the University and the wider Church.

Why Echo?

Echo is leading the charge to raise up pastorally creative young adult leaders who will courageously and thoughtfully catechize and evangelize the people of God. We live in an age of increasing digitalization that can often promise quick answers and solutions with little personal investment and work. But we invite our students into the real, oftentimes slower work required for education, service, and formation. With curiosity and generosity, we seek to create spaces of healing where collaboration and co-responsibility between laity and clergy, men and women, young and old can respond to real needs in all areas of Church life. We hope to form disciples who are not formed according to the world’s vision, but God’s.
