The Effects of the Pill upon Natural and Human Ecology

Enjoy a free lunch and seminar-style conversation with Fr. Terry Ehrman, C.S.C., Visiting Assistant Professional Specialist in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. Sponsored by the McGrath Institute for Church Life.

Fr. Terrence P. Ehrman, C.S.C. investigates the relationship between theology and science, particularly the life sciences of ecology and evolution. His interests include understanding who God is as Creator, who we are as creatures, and what our relationship is to God, ourselves, and the natural world. He teaches courses in the theology department entitled Science, Theology, and Creation and Theology and Ecology. From 2016-19, Fr. Ehrman was the assistant director of the Center for Theology, Science, and Human Flourishing at Notre Dame. He has a B.S. in biology and M.Div. from Notre Dame, M.S. in aquatic ecology from Virginia Tech, and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from The Catholic University of America. He is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and was ordained a Holy Cross priest in 2000.
