Msgr. Michael Heintz
Monsignor Michael Heintz, a priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana, completed his seminary studies at St John’s Seminary, Brighton and was ordained in 1993 by Bishop John M D’Arcy, and assigned to St Charles Parish in Fort Wayne and to Bishop Dwenger High School as chaplain. In 1998, he was assigned to St Matthew Cathedral and to further studies at the University of Notre Dame. In 2008 he completed his PhD in Patristics. He taught at the University of Notre Dame for over a decade and was director of the Master of Divinity Program there before taking up a new role as associate professor of Theology and spiritual director at Mount St Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, where he teaches Patristics, Liturgy, and Christology, and serves as Academic Dean.
