Tim oversees Echo’s human-communal and spiritual formation. His ministry includes supporting Echo participants through fall site visits, developing and emceeing Echo Retreats, and supporting the program’s fourteen regional formation assistants.

Tim is from Waterford, Connecticut. He earned his B.A. from Providence College, served as a Jesuit Volunteer, and taught high school before his desire to serve the Church led him to Notre Dame’s Master of Divinity program which he completed in 2013. Tim is formed by Dominican, Jesuit, Holy Cross, Benedictine, Catholic Worker, and Mennonite charisms. 

Currently, Tim is collaborating with others in South Bend to develop a lay, intentional, Christian community rooted in the Benedictine practices of hospitality and contemplation. In his free time, Tim enjoys triathlon training, summer dips in Lake Michigan, and hosting Sunday Brunch.
