Scott Boyle, M.A.

Scott Boyle directs undergraduate engagement and student recruitment initiatives across the McGrath Institute. He is responsible for developing and coordinating the execution of the Institute's strategy for undergraduate engagement, including working with McGrath faculty who teach and mentor undergraduates, with McGrath staff and faculty who oversee existing programming for undergraduate students, as well as working with colleagues and ecclesial partners to develop new mentorship and ecclesial internship opportunities for undergraduate students. He also oversees collaborative partnerships between the McGrath Institute and other units on campus to deepen McGrath's impact on the campus faith leadership landscape, and to create more integrated undergraduate faith leadership opportunities across campus units. He also directs student recruitment efforts for the Echo, Notre Dame Vision and Catechist Academy programs.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Scott received his undergraduate degree in Theology from Notre Dame in 2012 where he was a proud member of the Notre Dame Vision program and his M.A. in Theology from Notre Dame in 2015 where he was a member of the Echo Graduate Service Learning Program.  After working in many diverse settings from parish to high school and now the university setting, Scott is passionate about accompanying others (especially young adults) as they discern how God is moving in their lives. In addition to his primary work at Notre Dame, each year he travels across the country speaking to different groups about the intersection of theology and lived faith, specifically in the realms of faith formation and youth engagement.
