Originally from Manchester, Connecticut, Maggie graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Theology. Upon graduating, she completed a year of volunteer service at Amate House in Chicago, Illinois through Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns. She then began a career in healthcare communications, starting at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and then Children's Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children's Hospital) in Chicago. She has spent the last 18 years at Beacon Health System headquartered in South Bend, most recently as the Director of Communications. In this role, she was responsible for all internal and external messaging, including executive communications, social and traditional media and public relations. In addition, she served as the Public Information officer for Beacon's Incident Command Team during the recent pandemic.

Maggie lives in Granger, Indiana with her husband and two children. When not shuttling kids around to sports practices and school events, she loves diving into a good book, running, puzzles of all kinds, going for walks around the neighborhood, and spending time with her family.
