Katie oversees the area of professional formation for Echo participants and works closely with Notre Dame's Department of Theology to coordinate Echo participants' movement through the M.A. in Theology degree program. She also provides ongoing support to current Echo apprentices and theology teachers throughout their time in the program.

Katie grew up north of Chicago in Glenview, Illinois, and in 2008 earned her bachelor's degree in Catholic Theology and Secondary Education from Marquette University. Katie then earned her M.A. in Theology from Notre Dame while serving as an Echo apprentice at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. She remained in St. Petersburg after completing the Echo program and worked as a high school youth minister and middle school religion teacher. Katie briefly worked in campus ministry at Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, before beginning her work for Echo in December 2013.

Katie lives in Mishawaka, Indiana, with her husband Andy, daughter Maggie, and big dopey dog Indy.
