Barbara Luter is responsible for all behind-the-scenes programming functions of the Center for Liturgy and the Office of Life and Human Dignity.  She also supports the administrative needs of the Center, and assists the work of the McGrath Institute wherever necessary.

Barbara graduated from Western Michigan University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Political Science and Communication Arts and Sciences, and minoring in English.  She worked for Consumers Power Company (now Consumers Energy) in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Michigan for ten years, then relocated with her husband to Elkhart, Indiana. She spent three years as the personal assistant to the Regional Sales Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods Golf Division, then came to the Notre Dame Center for Pastoral Liturgy in July, 2000.

Barbara lives in Granger, Indiana with her husband of 36 years.  Their daughter resides in Denver, Colorado.
