Undergraduate Institution & Area(s) of Study:
University of Notre Dame, 2021
Philosophy and Theology, Medieval Studies (minor)

What attracted you to Echo?
I am a recent convert to Catholicism so I never had the opportunity to serve in a ministerial role. Echo allows me to continue my religious education and formation while also letting me give back a little to Christ who saved me.

Therese Douglass

Immaculate Conception High School

Stillwater, Minnesota

Undergraduate Institution & Area(s) of Study:
University of Notre Dame, 2021
Program of Liberal Studies, Spanish (Supplemental major), Theology (minor)

What are your favorite hobbies and activities?
I love everything to do with cooking: going to farmer's markets, looking at recipes, trying new techniques, feeding other people, and eating tasty food. If it has to do with food, I usually enjoy it. Outside of that, I enjoy running and reading quite a bit.

Heather Christman

What kinds of things will you be doing at your school?
This year I am teaching four sections of sophomore religion classes, and one section of freshman religion at Immaculate Heart Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in northern New Jersey. Next year, I will also be helping with campus ministry at the school.

What have you enjoyed most about your Echo experience?
I have thoroughly enjoyed the sense of brotherhood at Saint Joseph Regional High School. The students all express a desire to be the best men they can be and to help one another. The community has been very welcoming and helpful as I’ve begun my work.
