What are your favorite hobbies and activities outside of your ministry work?
Playing golf, reading, discussing life's fundamental questions (that is, doing philosophy), eating spicy food, quoting Will Ferrell movies, and spending time before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament are among my favorite ways to pass time. If I could do them all at the same time, I would. I dearly hope this is what Heaven will be like.

What kinds of things are you up to in your Echo school?
I'm teaching two courses that I'm really excited about: Old Testament Studies and Paschal Mystery.

What is the most significant thing you’ve learned in Echo?
I have learned the importance of thinking, planning, and acting teleologically. Considering the end goal orients us correctly not just in the classroom, but also in daily life. This understanding reflects the liturgy and has shed so much light onto how I'm called to express my life of faith as an Echo theology teacher.

What advice would you give to Echo applicants?
Show your openness to growth throughout the application process, and don't think you need to have it all together as you are applying -- tell them who you are, but focus on who you want to become and how this program can help you get there
