What have you enjoyed most about your Echo experience thus far?
I have loved getting to know different people in the diocese. Especially in working with Hispanic Ministry and Young Adult ministry, I meet people with very different backgrounds and experiences. I love to hear about those experiences, and it humbles me to learn what people have done in their lives and to see their strong faith. I am also humbled by the kindness and love that each person that I work with shows me.

What are your favorite hobbies and activities outside of your ministry work?
I like exploring different coffee shops, playing volleyball, discovering new music, hammocking, and talking on the phone with friends and family. Being in Knoxville is exciting though because I'm hopeful that hiking in the Smokies may become another regular activity!

What advice would you give to Echo applicants?
You don't have to have it all figured out before you apply. Just apply, and the process itself will help you figure out what you're supposed to do. I didn't know how badly I wanted Echo until I got in, so just apply and see what happens. Maybe you'll end up exactly where you're supposed to be.
