Lecture by Hadley Arkes - "Roe Changed the Culture: Was Dobbs the Antidote?"

Professor Hadley Arkes will deliver a lecture about how Roe shaped American culture for nearly fifty years and the cultural impacts of Dobbs. Arkes is the founder and director of the James Wilson Institute, which seeks to restore to a new generation of lawyers, judges, and citizens the understanding of the American Founders about the first principles of our law and the moral grounds of their own rights. Arkes is an emeritus professor at Amherst College, where he was a faculty member since 1966. He is the author of seven books, most recently Constitutional Illusions and Anchoring Truths: The Touchstone of the Natural Law (Cambridge University Press, 2010).
