Saturdays with the Saints“Thank God for the saints whose feast days come around and remind us that we too are called to be saints.” (Dorothy Day, “On Pilgrimage-October 1949.” The Catholic Worker, October 1949.

 

The Institute for Church Life hosts its fifth annual series, Saturdays with the Saints. Launched in 2010, Saturdays with the Saints offers an hour-long presentation on saints on the mornings of select home football games. Offering visitors to campus a unique opportunity for spiritual reflection, the program draws on distinguished members of the Notre Dame faculty. Held in the Andrews Auditorium of Geddes Hall (home to the Institute for Church Life) and starting at 10:30 a.m., the schedule for this fall is:
