The Church Communications Ecology Program

At the Intersection of the Church and the Digital World

In a time when media technology is dramatically reshaping culture, the Church Communications Ecology Program seeks to offer a philosophical foundation for engaging the digital environment with virtue and wisdom.

Not satisfied with common “antidotes,” like technology fasts and social media Sabbaths, we ask incisive questions to illuminate the deeply embedded effects of the Digital age on the Church and on ourselves. And we engage with lay and pastoral leaders to investigate how to respond to the tremendous technological transformations of our time that have unbalanced both the Church's ecosystem and our own territory.
